About
SYDNEY TRIMBOLI, LPC
I am honored to work with individuals who are seeking healing.
Whether it be healing from trauma, eating disorders, anxiety or whatever may be taking you away from your most true and authentic life. Pursuing healing is brave, it takes courage to say yes to vulnerability and open ourselves to growth and change. My deepest hope is that I may be someone who will take you one step closer to freedom. With curiosity, we can work to uncover the messages that have held you back from embracing yourself, in all that you may be.
While I have a passion and focus for trauma and eating disorders, I love to work with folks from all walks of life. I feel privileged to sit with people working through existential issues, life transitions, spirituality, and personal growth. Therapy can be a place to explore what has shaped who we are and intentionally move towards who we want to be.
I am HAES (Health At Every Size) aligned and body inclusive. All bodies are safe here.
I have over four years experience working in higher levels of care for eating disorders before opening a private practice. I have worked in both partial hospitalization and residential facilities as well as sought hundreds of hours of continued education and additional trainings on inclusive care, the intersection between trauma and eating disorders, and dual diagnoses.
I use an Existential-Humanistic approach to therapy which means that we will dive into purpose, meaning and the most authentic version of who you already are. I believe that I am simply a helper in your journey to discovery and it would be a privilege to hear your story. It is an honor to aid in the reclamation of life.
I ask a lot of big questions because I want to help you to get to the core of whatever brings you to therapy. Change starts in the 50 min we are together, but life truly transforms when that change is brought into your day. My hope is that what we talk about in session will be brought with you throughout your week, and into your life.
A note on finding a therapist
It’s okay to try therapists out. If it’s not a good fit, that’s okay! Therapists know that and don’t take it personally. Finding a therapist that matches you and makes you feel seen can be tricky and time consuming.
That is why I want to make finding a good fit as easy as possible. I know how difficult it can be to get through all the barriers to care, especially if you’re in the headspace to be seeking care. Please ask questions and I will do my part to be transparent.
